Students will build on knowledge gained in previous units to critically analyse global health challenges and the role of global health organisations in response to health priorities. By introducing students to contexts similar and diverse to Australia, students will critically evaluate the importance of individual, community, national and international collaboration in attaining optimal health for all populations. Students will explore the role of the World Health Organisation (WHO) in global health responses including the management of health emergencies.
