This unit is the first of two units designed to guide the student through to the successful completion of a research project and compilation of a written thesis that represents a significant contribution to knowledge. In collaboration with a research supervisor and following a research plan normally produced in the unit BUS706 Business Research Thesis Proposal, students will begin an independent empirical investigation by way of such devices as a comprehensive literature review, data collection and analysis.
Students will be required to present their findings and progress. During this phase of the students' research, students will begin the compilation of a 10,000-20,000 word thesis that will be completed in BUS708. Online enrolment is not available for this unit. Students should discuss their research proposal with the unit coordinator prior to enrolling. To then enrol, Special Enrolment is required through eForms.
