Unit Catalogue

This unit provides students with the opportunity to critically reflect on their fields of practice in emergency and disaster management. It focuses on the process of reflection and action inquiry through case study accounts of their past or current experience. Students will negotiate with an organization in the emergency and disaster management field, for example; governmental and non-governmental agencies at local, national and international levels; industry sectors such as mining, gas, oil or shipping; military deployment; or the analysis of policy, to contribute to practice improvement in heir chosen field.
