| This unit enables students to conduct data collection, analysis and reporting of a research based minor project, the focus and design of which has been negotiated with their advisor and the unit coordinator. The main aim of the unit is to analyse the data to answer the research question posed and developed in EMG824. Data may include curriculum documents, policy texts, a teaching and learning initiative, secondary analysis of existing data, interviews, observations or similar. Only negligible risk topics with non-vulnerable subjects are permitted in this unit. Students produce a report on the findings of the study drawing on the literature and review of methods completed for EMG824. They submit the thesis report for external examination.
