| This unit is designed for both beginners and those who have had little formal instruction in the language. Students receive a systematic introduction to the modern Greek language in order to gradually develop and improve communication and written skills. Students will engage through class interaction to gradually improve communication, linguistic, conversational and compositional skills. Topics discussed will include selective historical and cultural perspectives of Greece, literature and society, Greek migration to Australia (particular to the Northern Territory). |
