This unit is the second of two community health project units in which students will implement theory and knowledge by undertaking a health project in collaboration with a community organisation. In this unit the student will practice negotiation, communication and project management skills. By implementing their project, students will complete 110 hours of community engagement with the organisation they have worked with in this unit. Students will complete an evaluation of their project and finalise their Professional Portfolio in preparation for entering the workforce. All students are required to check their pre-project documentation is current. It is the students' responsibility to take action to address this before the commencement of the semester.
