This unit provides an understanding of Indigenous land, culture, society and the environment in contemporary Australia. Students are exposed to the diversity of Indigenous people's expression of land and sea ownership and use and explore the implications this has for the ways in which government, statutory authorities and private industry engage with Indigenous Australians.
