Unit Description

UniReady will equip students new to university with the necessary skills and knowledge to make the best possible start to their studies. This unit will help students understand what is expected of them as students, the commitment that is required to be successful in their studies and familiarise them with the university's systems, services and supporting resources for their learning journey. Online classes, videos, guided activities, and interactive games will introduce and explore different tools and strategies to help students to identify how they will learn best. They will also learn how to communicate and conduct themselves appropriately in an academic environment, how to set goals, prioritise and manage their time, and how to keep themselves motivated.
