Unit Description

This unit provides students with the skills to conduct a comprehensive literature review and design a research project that is applicable to clinical psychology. In addition, students will develop the skills and understanding to submit an ethical application for proposed research.

This unit is completed as part of a nested sequence with PSY811 and PSY821.

1.	Critically review and synthesise relevant literature around a chosen topic.
2.	Design an ethical research project based in a theoretical context.
3.	Apply knowledge and skills in methodology and analyses in planning a research project.
4.	Prepare and submit an ethics application to investigate a substantive research question relevant to clinical psychology.
