1.   | Review normal swallowing across the lifespan and report on the aetiologies, presentations and risks associated with dysphagia. |
2.   | Evaluate the use of clinical and instrumental assessments for dysphagia, demonstrating an understanding of the strengths, weaknesses and information obtained. |
3.   | Analyse and integrate assessment results and case information to formulate an appropriate evidence-based, person-centred management plan for clients with dysphagia. |
4.   | Critically reflect on the role of other members of the dysphagia team, including clients and partners/carers. |
5.   | Evaluate the ethical, legal and quality of life issues surrounding dysphagia assessment and management. |
